Debbie's Story

I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a goood idea. As it turns out, they were right. I love to be outside. I dont care if it is mowing the grass or playing in my flowers. I love the water and laying out by the pool or beach. I absolutely love to get dirty playing in my garden all day. Nothing makes me happier than being in the sun and by the water. i really should have grown up to be a beach bum I don't per say have a hero. But I love God. He has always been faithful to me. God is good, all the time, even, and especially when Life is Hard. I love him The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is David Cook, because Its hard to choose only one, but he was a great friend to me. I called him, and still do, "my little Cookie". John Hazlett was one of my very good friends too. I just loved everyone at Loveland, I literally cried when we graduated because i did not want to leave all my friends and all the special times I like to watch football. Some guy named Pat Engle got me started on that. I am sure some of you all remember that. By the way, I am over him by now :) I am not a big tv watcher. I like to stay active, but I am an addict for American Idol, House, and Dr G Medical Examiner If I could improve my home, I'd remodel kitchen and add on a bigger family room. My dream home would be a cozy cottage by the lake or a house on the beach. I have learned selfless love and,Never let them see you sweat !!!!!! Also, puppies are alot easier If I won $100 million, I'd give 10 percent of it to my church, then spend the rest on my family , friends and charity. No, I was always tame, however, I think I am getting ready to go through mid life crisis, so watch out world I am a nurse, but am seriously looking to change careers. Not quite sure I know what I want to be when I grow up, Oh yeah, I forgot, a beach bum My best friend would tell you I'm sweet and strong, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as who knows. No, much more stylish, remember, i have a 22 year old girl who keeps me in line I don't have any big victories. I am just a normal girl. Anymore, I live life through my kids. Oh, I was on American Idol last week, I was holding a sign that said "Simon has great Pecs" that was my moment in history. How sad that is :) In 10 years, I hope to be Happier. I'm going to get there by making big changes.. My oldest friend is Kathy. We met in church about 20 years ago Too many to remember, but one that stand out is when at the pep assembly and they announced the best football seniors legs, they announced "Pat Cornelius Engel" Hugely funny, but Hugely embarassing My favorite way to blow off steam is to get outside. It it is above 50, I am outisde. I love, absolutely love to be outside. I live for days when I can lay out in the sun and play in my flowers I am an American Idol fanatic!!!!!! I am not much into TV. I have to stay busy. Sometimes I like to lay in my bed and watch chick flicks but most of the time I have to be doing something. Oh, i also like to wa...Expand for more
tch Dr G Medical Examiner. That show is fascinating. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel kitchen and add on a greenhouse. My dream home would be house on the beach or a house on the lake. Being a parent has taught me unconditional love, and it has also taught me that puppies would be easier to have :) Currently I am a nurse and am back in school for my Bachelors. Possibly some day, if I have the energy, I would like to be a nurse practitioner. Or..... Angelina Jolie :) Noooooooo!!!! My style is classic, yet still hip. My daughter makes sure of that. Sometimes I try to dress a little younger than I should, but she keeps me in line. Oh to be 20 again....... I do not have any trophies. I am lame In 10 years, I hope to be 10 years younger. I'm going to get there by plastic surgery :). My first job was at McDonalds in Loveland, where I got paid squat to have fun with my friends and eat fries with tartar sauce. What I remember most about it is working the fryer with the fries (GREASY). Did you know that I have 4 famous 1st cousins? 3 you will probably remember, because I am sure you listened to their music with me growing up. First is England Dan of England Dan and John Ford Coley, his real name was Dan Seals. He just recently died of complications of Lymphoma, 2nd is his brother Jim Seals of Seals and Croft and the 3rd is Brady Seals of Little Texas. All the talent is on my dads side. I guess that is where my daughter gets her talent. Anyway, I thought that was cool and I wanted to share it. Not anything I did, just proud of them. I guess my oldest friend, "and she wouldnt like me to call her that" would be Debbie Hutzel. I don't see her hardly ever, but she did something for me that changed my life and my families lives forever. She invited me to church and I accepted Christ as my Savior. He has changed my life and kept me through all these years. I owe Debbie my life. She was obedient to the Lord and invited me to church, once I was there and felt God's love, I was hooked! As your friend, I invite you to go to church Sunday and have your own persoal relationship with Christ. He is coming SOON When I get frustrated and need to relax, if its summer I go to the pool if it is winter, I go to the sauna at the gym and of course there is always chocolate:) My inspiration is from the Lord Jesus Christ I have just started to get addicted to Criminal Minds Pets are easier and cheaper If I won $100 million, I'd give alot of it to my church, then spend the rest on family, friends and the needy. My current age is 46. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be very old. I was so completely wrong. I am a nurse already, but I am going back to further my education That would be a definite no!!!!!! Have you ever watched "what not to wear"? My first job was at Mcdonalds, where I got paid 4.25 to do all sorts of stuff. What I remember most about it is it was fun, i would sometimes get in trouble for goofing off, but i liked the job. When I moved to Loveland in the sixth grade in the last week of school. That still haunts me at times :)
